DESCRIPTION
Visit Ag. Nikolaos, the capital city of the Lassithi Prefecture, with Lake Voulismeniat its center where the Olympian Goddesses Athena and Artemis bathed. Continue to Elouda, enjoying some of the most beautiful views of Crete. Look across the Elouda Lagoon at the enchanting islands of Spinaloga and Kolokitha. After a short drive you will reach Plaka, a small fishing village where you can have lunch or a refreshing swim in its crystal clear waters. Directly opposite is Spinaloga. A 10-minute boat ride takes you to the island where you can stroll around and feel its very long history.
